Working within the Payroll team, you will report into the Payroll Manager and will work be responsible for processing the payroll on a monthly cycle across the UK and Ireland.
You will
  • Work with our managed payroll vendor to process the monthly payroll for 3,000 + employees across UK and Ireland
  • Take ownership of key processes e.g.,Family Leave/Sickness/Commission
  • Conduct regular payroll checks and follow assigned checklists within the month.
  • Prepare post monthly payroll reporting and payroll journals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Support HR and Accounting teams with queries
  • Managing employee queries and emails through a central solution with a strong Customer mindset
  • Perform regular reconciliations of payroll accounts
  • Ensure calculations are applied accurately by the payroll vendor by checking calculations.
  • Work and support on process improvements and collaborate with the wider HR team such as Reward, HR Cost Control etc.
You have
  • End to end payroll processing experience
  • Experience of UK and Irish payrolls
  • The ability to deal with payroll queries efficiently with a strong customer mindset
  • Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Ability to manually calculate a payslip
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player
