'Art Derelict' for TSYM Magazine's October 2021 Issue. In South Manchester, there's a vast amount of abandoned, boarded-up or tragically rebranded Art Deco buildings. What were once contemporary and lavish architectural hubs in the early 20th century, now boast not-so-glamorous Mecca Bingo, Total Fitness and seedy nightclub signs. Art Derelict combines the glamour of the roaring 1920's (think dresses embellished in sequins, elaborate pearl accessories and soft blush cheeks), with the reality of the roaring 2020's.
